After a month of pre-order status the Traktor Kontrol Z2 is now available in stores.
DJ Craze has had his for a while now and has therefore had the chance to rock it out pretty well. Check out the video below:-

Traktor Tips 
I have a beast custom PC lapotp. I had issues with my S4 similar to the post. I found the only thing that works for me is to plug the S4 s usb into a usb2 port, not a usb3 port. I also run Kontrol S4 control panel, click the diagnostic tab and run system performance test for a couple of seconds. I get a big drop out right away, but doesn’t seem to come back no matter how long I play afterwards. Make sure to stop the performance test, wi-fi is off, and then start Traktor Pro 2. Hope this works for someone else.
