Involved in music since he was born, Leo Nogueira has played guitar since the age of 12 and piano since he was 16. He has played in several rock and jazz bands as a teenager. After graduating in engineering he started producing and recording professionally, working as an audio engineer.
In May 2010, Leo Nogueira held the course in AIMEC DJ (International Academy of Electronic Music) in Curitiba, where people can hone their mixing and production techniques with some well known DJs and producers such as Raul Aguilera, Matteus B, Ilan Kriger and Rafael Araujo.
Leo’s style is house and its variations of, such as disco house, tech house, progressive and deep and he is currently trying to find his place in the electronic scene in Rio, where Leo has beeen based since October 2010.
Leo Nogueira is an instructor of digital DJing with Traktor Pro using IATEC in Rio and maintains a podcast on iTunes titled “Summer House Sessions”. Leo also had his set chosen by Rio Music Conference as one of the top 20 in Brazil for the 2nd consecutive year.
