Traktor Tips very rarely features the same artist twice in the Friday Guest Mixes, but it is time we paid some dues to a loyal follower.
Teknod, was in fact the first DJ to feature as a Traktor DJ Mix on our pages back on 18th May 2012. With one mix a week from there onwards, we have now featured 34 different DJ’s for the Traktor Tips Friday Guest Mix.
So here we reintroduce Tekno D, aka Danny Brueur, from the Netherlands. Follow him on Soundcloud and Twitter.
Around 1997 Tekno D began spinning vinyl, first with club music and since 2000 tribal techno.
He participated in various DJ contests and as a result has played in different clubs in the south of the country.
Between 2001 and 2004, me and my friends organized our own party’s for approx 200 people in Belgium and the south of the country called ‘7s’ & ‘7events’.
Between 2006 and 2008 Tekno D took a break from the music when around 2008 he finally picked up the thread again, discovering Traktor Pro. He started with a Hercules RMX, a year later switched to a Kontrol S4 and now finally a dream set up which includes an Allen & Heath DB4, Xone K2, Native Instrument’s X1 and Maschine.
