Native Instruments announces Traktor iPad App

It was less than 24 hours ago that I suggested Traktor maybe launching something soon and then it came…..

In a sneaky little Facebook post 7 hours ago on the morning of January 22nd 2013, Native Instruments posted a picture of Richie Hawtin using an iPad. No biggie there, I hear you say, but they explain in the comments that he is test driving the new Traktor iPad App.

Here Richie is purported to be testing out the new iPad App for Traktor!?

I am very excited to see what this app is capable of, I will assume, like Pioneers ‘Rekordox’, that we will see integration of playlists and maybe the opportunity to set cue points and loops.  So that when one is on route to a gig, you can get things all lined up, without having to get your laptop out?

I may of course be wrong about this and it may be simply a DJ tool, but we will have to wait and see.

What do you think this new iPad app will do? Check out Traktor original FaceBook Post here.
