About Josh Bailey

Josh Bailey

Bailey began to DJ at the age of 18. He was initially influenced by going to his first gig: The Legendary Tidy Boys, of whom he saw at Bournemouth’s Opera House. Following that gig, Bailey’s passion for music took over. Bailey began to experiment in his music taste, listening to Hard Dance, Hard House, Hard Style and Trance. Bailey strived to be like the producers and established DJ’s he listened to.
10 months after his first outing, Bailey was finally given his first gig at V-Bar in Portsmouth. He performed on New Year’s Eve in 2008; he played a Trance warm up set between 9-10pm. From this moment Bailey’s desire grew immensely for Electronic dance music.
Bailey continued to play the odd set here and there. He experimented in various genres trying to be as versatile as possible. He would play anything he was asked from: Trance to Hard style, Gabba etc.

In 2010 Bailey finally had a set outside of Portsmouth; playing London twice in one night. He played a warm up set at Rebellion, as well as the closing set at the after party in the famous Club 414.
2011 was Bailey’s breakthrough. He played gigs on a monthly basis, playing solo or B2B with JME-K. With his new found confidence, Bailey played on a much more regular basis. He played alongside names such as: Lisa Lashes, Anne Savage, Cally Gage, Proteus, Andy Whitby, Colin Dale, Dave Angel, Dave Joy, Frisky, Sixth Sense and many more

Bailey’s success has continued into 2012. His last gigs based in London, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Southampton and Brighton.

2013 is set to the biggest and best year to date for Bailey.
