This weeks Traktor DJ Guest Mix serves up 22 tracks delivered to you in a remarkably small package of just one hour, all started off with a great little intro. (For those of you that have ever watched the movie ‘Pitch Perfect’ you’ll be familiar with this intro)
Last week we featured a DJ from the Czech Republic, this week I am proud to feature Slovenia on the list of awesome Friday Guest Mixes – DJ Guli throws down a sweet set for you all.
The track selection features some amazing bassline hooks that will definitely get you groovin’. My particular favourite drop is when the bassline kicks in for ‘The Music’ by Kenny Ground, just couldn’t help smiling! And that club mix of Your Love by Mark Knight, is a nice touch. Anyway….

About DJ Guli
Guli, one of the most promising DJs in Slovenia, made his first steps in electronic music with only twelve years, when as a gift from his mother, he got a tape of DJT Power mix 3. That was the point in his life where he realized that music will be with him forever. This tape gave him the inspiration that himself could try to make his own mixes. Soon he became the star of local private parties. However, this was not enough, because he wanted to attract a broader crowd.
Therefore, he connected with Youth center Sevnica, which offered the opportunity to show his quality and talent to his future fans. In November 2006, story of success began to write. After he became well known in the local party scene Guli has increasingly began to emerge on a wide range of entertainment throughout Slovenia. Over time, his talent was noticed by travel agencies and he got a chance to show his love of music and the creation of amazing parties abroad. His work was carried out more than excellent, because he made unforgettable graduation trips and magical new years…
Currently he is taking a residency at one of the best Slovenian clubs – CIRKUS. His goal in the future is to become known beyond the borders of Slovenia and Europe, and be able to bring electronic joy to thousands of dancing fans. Of course, we don’t doubt in him, it’s just a matter of time.
