I stumbled across an awesome set of videos that thought would be great to share with Traktor Tips readers.
Even if you are not a scratch DJ, you will be able to appreciate the quality of this particular scratch routine and following that, you can check out how the performer, Darcy, does it.
In the video below, Darcy from the Scratch Mobile Project, uses the Kontrol Z2 mixer, with Traktor Scratch Pro and one turntable.
By combining the use of loops and hotcues, he pieces together a relatively simple routine that sounds awesome!
I have included the the two videos, but if you want to read more about it, including an indepth written explanation you can head over to Studio Scratches.
Scribble scratch is my favorite. It produces the coolest sound and is the most difficult as well. It took me 2 weeks to learn it.
