Happy 2015 to you all, I hope you all had an amazing New Years Eve whatever you got upto.
I hope many of you were DJ’ing somewhere, but if you weren’t, don’t worry, you can focus on making it happen at the end of this year.
So to start the year off with the first radio show of 2015, I decided to play a few tracks that I played during my New Years Set. I was lucky enough to get a set time from 11:30 to 1am, so was able to rock a crowd of around 230 people right into the New Year. It’s always very special when there’s a crowd rocking hard in-front of you! Continue reading “Lost Radio Show January 2015”
In true DJ website style, I have decided to place the top ten visited articles of 2014 into one all encompassing article. This mini chart was compiled using google analytics and as such is not necessarily a fair representation, as articles posted earlier in the year have a better chance of getting more hits than those posted later. But at least it will give you an idea of what people have been looking at during 2014. Continue reading “Top 10 Traktor Tips Reads of 2014”
This month my LIVE radio show for DE Radio was recorded on video for you all to watch.
You also have the option of listening to the set on Soundcloud instead.

The entire set is available for download so you can listen to it at your leisure. Continue reading “Lost on DE Radio Show – December 2014”

In a previous tutorial I showed you how easy it is to capture samples into the remix decks, well now it’s time to put the remix decks to some use, and the second video in this series will show you … Continue reading Creating Build Ups in Traktor Remix Decks
Capturing samples in Traktor is extremely easy and there are a couple of ways you can do this. One way is to use the sampler, which I have covered in a previous tutorial. The other way is by capturing samples into the top row of remix deck cells.
For those that have not used the remix decks before, you can get a basic idea of their functions in an article titled: Traktor Remix Deck Basics.
If you already own a Kontrol S4 you are in an ideal position to start working with the remix decks. If you don’t have a controller, don’t despair, you can also do this with your mouse! (more about that below) Continue reading “Capturing Samples into the Traktor Remix Decks”
Whilst I have owned the Kontrol F1 for almost two years now, it has remained rather dormant up until recently. I have tinkered around with it on various occasions but very rarely immersed myself in it for any notable length … Continue reading Discovering Traktor’s Remix Decks
