A recent video from Ean Golden on DJ Tech Tools started a few cogs turning in my mind. The video, although an excellent piece of advice on a quick method of checking the beatgrid on your track, had me pondering it’s usefulness. Continue reading “Don’t Underestimate the Power of Beatmatching”
This month I decided to set up the sound cards on the CDJ’s. I seemed to have forgotten that they contain their own sound card and have been relying on my now aging Kontrol Audio 8 interface from NI.
It’s incredibly easy to set up the aggregate audio for the CDJ’s using a mac, I will post an article on this at a later time. (It seems that PC users can just select the outputs without the need to aggregate.) Continue reading “Lost Radio Show February 2015”

Happy 2015 to you all, I hope you all had an amazing New Years Eve whatever you got upto.
I hope many of you were DJ’ing somewhere, but if you weren’t, don’t worry, you can focus on making it happen at the end of this year.
So to start the year off with the first radio show of 2015, I decided to play a few tracks that I played during my New Years Set. I was lucky enough to get a set time from 11:30 to 1am, so was able to rock a crowd of around 230 people right into the New Year. It’s always very special when there’s a crowd rocking hard in-front of you! Continue reading “Lost Radio Show January 2015”
