DDJ ERGO-K Controller from Pioneer for Traktor

From my viewpoint, I see Pioneer as the world leaders for CDJ manufacturing, they have always been the industry standard for CDJ’s and from my experienced coined the name CDJ.  Similarly to how people call their mp3 players iPods even if it’s not an iPod; many people now call their DJ CD players, CDJ’s.  1994 saw the first real CDJ product, the CDJ-500. Livid Instruments have produced a good looking midi controller in collaboration with the DJ Legend Richie Hawtin! Just looking at the layout of the controls and buttons, seems to show a well thought out, useful design. The CNTRL:R is designed with Ableton in mind, with completely customizable midi the possibilities are endless, but if you want a simple plug and play, a Traktor mapping is available and included. EDIT – correction: The good news: Native instruments contacted me today to explain that all updates within a major version (e.g. 2.x) are absolutely free of charge for registered users, you´ll be able to download the newest version (2.5) in your Service Center application from May 30th onwards – you won´t have to purchase anything at all.
